Senior Sales Executive
(based in Jalan Conlay, KL)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, International Business, Supply Chain or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or trading, ideally in plastics or the automotive industry
- Proven track record in sales growth, market expansion and project ownership
- Strong analytical and business acumen to drive business decisions and market development
- Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives within the Electrical & Electronics or Automotive industries or raw material trading sectors
- Good negotiation and contract management expertise, in delivering cost savings and value- added solutions for customers and stakeholders
- Result oriented, dynamic personality, good follow through and possess good organisational skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, positive mindset and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and articulate own ideas with superiors professionally
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and stakeholders
- Good written and verbal language skill in English and Bahasa Melayu; and ability to converse in Japanese or Mandarin is an added advantage
- Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office
Detailed Job Duties:
Supplier and Customer Relationship Management- Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts and partners
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with both existing and potential suppliers and customers, to ensure seamless operations
- Proactively promote raw materials to automotive clients in both domestic and international markets
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to expand customer base and increase revenue
- Research and identify emerging market opportunities to drive new business development
- Take ownership of business projects, particularly in the automotive sector, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency
- Monitor project timelines, budgets and supply chain processes to ensure smooth execution
- Conduct market trends and new materials to support customer business development
- Analyze industry trends and new material technologies to support product development and enhance customers' business development
- Provide input to clients for improving their product pipelines
- Collaborate and communicate with Toyota Tsusho Corporation's overseas branches for cross-border business development and client support
- Coordinate global collaborations and align strategies for multinational accounts
- Prepare annual sales plans and regular reports (weekly/monthly) to track performance, market movements pertaining to key trading activities, market insights and strategic developments, etc
- Ensure the Company complies with the related laws and regulations on supply chain operations
- Undertake adhoc or any other assignment, as and when required by immediate superior and/or the top management
