The Company is committed to Corporate Social Responsibility by integrating it as part of its overall business operations.
During the year, the Company embarked on the following CSR activities:-
3R Lovely Disable Home
Employees of Toyota Tsusho (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. ("TTMSB") contribute recyclable items to the Lovely Disabled Home ("Lovely Home"), a non-governmental and non-profitable organization specialises in providing job opportunities to the physically and/or mentally challenged individual.
Recyclable items such as paper, cardboard, magazines and cans (plastic, steel, aluminium) contributed by TTMSB will be sent to the recycle centre at the Lovely Home and the proceeds of the same will be utilised to partly fund their operation expenses.
POBP Dayspring Game Activity
On 6th August 2019, ten (10) volunteers from Toyota Tsusho (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. ("TTMSB") and the students from POBP Dayspring Selangor ("Dayspring") participated in the interactive game activities ("Event") conducted by Dayspring at Selangor Coast Club.
This Event was aimed to encourage, instil and enhance group involvement, team work, interaction, obedience, respect, self-confidence and positive attitude among the students towards competition.
TTMSB had contributed the sum of RM2,607.35 in this Event and as a token of appreciation, the representative from Dayspring presented a hamper to TTMSB at the end of the Event.
Blood Donation
Toyota Tsusho (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. ("TTMSB") had organized a blood donation campaign ("Campaign") in cooperation with the National Blood Bank on 15th March 2019 at Wisma Lim Foo Yong.
The Campaign has received support from TTMSB's employees as well as other tenants in Wisma Lim Foo Yong.
